i have been unsuccessfully been trying to port my number out of Lum. Neither my account number or IEMI says is correct. We can’t use the text confirmation as the old SIM card is gone
You can go into your Lum account and toggle enable bypass sms. This would let you port out without replying to the text. Do not use IMEI to port in or out. Always use account number... if you are having trouble with the act #, please raise a ticket in your lum account and someone will be able to assist you.
I'm having an awful time porting out to Public. It won't accept the IMEI I tried or the account number. Support said to put 000 before the account number but sadly this also didn't work. Don't know what to do at this point. I've wasted a whole day on and off trying to solve this.
Hi there, this appears to be a problem specific to Public Mobile. The account number functions correctly for other providers, and occasionally individuals may need to prefix it with 000.
