Porting number is approved and shows successful, but still no service after 3 hours

I went through the workflow of porting an existing number on the lum app, got a text about the number transfer request from my old provider, got confirmation from my old provider that the request has been approved and then completed the rest of the activation process on the Lum app. I installed the Lum SIM card and after waiting for 3 hours, it still shows no service. Do I need to wait longer or did something go wrong in the process. Thanks
