Local calls are flagged as long distance calls
I live in Saskatchewan and have a number with the area code 639. Whenever I phone someone with a 306 area code (which is the older Saskatchewan area code), I get an automated message telling me that the call is one "to which long distance charges may apply". I have not noticed any extra charges on my Lum account, but the message appearing everytime I call someone is annoying.
How do I fix this?

Long distance calls don't just depend on Saskatchewan number prefix (306 or 639). It also depends on the middle 3 digits.
If the middle 3 digits are from a number from Saskatoon and you're situated in Regina with a Regina number. That is technically a long distance call.
Lüm includes calls to Canada, US and Mexico. Since there are no extra charges for Long Distance calls to Canada, US... Anytime you save a number in your contacts just put a 1 before it. That should take care of the message you hear.
I.e. Instead of dialing or saving a contact as 306-xxx-zzzz. Save it as 1-306-xxx-zzzz.
