Carrier-provided time has daylight savings enabled
When using carrier-provided time, daylight savings time is enabled but shouldn't be for Saskatchewan residents

Very odd since we use a lot of SaskTel settings… I’ll have my network guys look at it. Thanks Bort!

Thanks, hopefully they can get to it before the morning in case some folks like me use their phone's alarm to wake up for work.
I'd hate to wake up an hour earlier than needed😆

@Lüm-Mobile , any updates on this? My Galaxy S23 got the time from Winnipeg today from the netweok when the DST started. I live in Saskatoon. This should not have happened. Could you please take some action and fix the timezone in the network?

Hello @rewgoes,
Daylight saving time (DST) begins on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November across most of North America.
Because Saskatchewan doesn't change time for DST, your phone or tablet may start showing the wrong time (off by 1 hour) on these dates.
If this happens, try one or more of these things to fix the time (check your phone's user manual or website for more instructions):
- Turn your phone or tablet off and then on again - this will fix the problem in most cases as the time is sent once from the network, not continually.
- If the automatic (or network-provided) time is wrong, try setting the time zone to Saskatchewan, CST (central standard time), or "ignore daylight savings".
Apple iOS: Set the time zone to Regina, Saskatoon, or Swift Current.
Thanks,
The Lum Team
