Data on wifi

Does your data still get used when you're on wifi, for picture and video messages?

    For the most part, no. You can turn your data off on your phone if you’re wanting to make sure it doesn’t use it while on Wi-Fi.

    Ok thanks. But for the most part? Does it sometimes use data even if you're on wifi?

    Wi-Fi isn’t very reliable and if the signal is poor or it disconnects, your phone is designed to use data.
