Networked locked sim

Went through the sim setup as they indicate but the phone will not allow you to put the card in half way through setup as indicated. Needs to restart. Tried several times and gave up. Tried with card in and it allowed me to finish but now just says network locked sim card. Also asked me to rate the activation process but that disappears before you complete the process. Currently it is negative stars if that's an option.

    Are you sure your phone is not locked to your previous carrier?

    Network locked means your phone is locked by the previous provider. They should be able to unlock it for you when you contact them.
