I cannot scan the bar code to activate my sim, it's not focusing

Unable to scan barcode at the back of the sim. Any other options to activate sim?

    Can you tell me what kind of phone you have? Also is it the barcode at the bottom to enter your SIM card number? The number is actually below the barcode so you can type it in manually if it's not working.
