Data charges while on wifi

Has anyone else noticed they are using up their data bucket while connected to wifi? The data amount is not significant, but I noticed this is happening when I'm at home, connected to wifi.

    Small amounts of data may be used depending on your phone. This could be due to the fact that some devices turn wifi off when the screen is turned off. There could also be some background services that are staying connected pinging back and forth with their respective service providers. Could be a range of reasons.


    One way to figure out would be to download a Data Usage monitoring app for your phone. Then observe, what is using your data while at home. Could help clarify things.
