Esim for traveling

Are there any issues I should be aware of if I plan to buy an esim through Airalo for traveling abroad (outside of North America and Mexico)? Does the Lum plan lock my phone from being able to connect with other carriers for data? My phone is esim compatible.

    I had zero issues using esim through my phone in England, the United States and many parts of Europe. I also purchased from Airalo. There are no restrictions from Lüm as long as your phone is fully compatible.
