Can't send or receive texts.
I just switched to Lum from SaskTel mobility and now I can't send or receive texts. I've tried rebooting my phone, reinserting the SIM card but it still doesn't work. Is there a simple fix for this?

Sometimes the SMSC number isn't automatically set on some devices. Can you try going into your messages app settings and finding the setting for SMSC. Then set it to: +13065200051
Also, if you ported not too long ago. It can take a little time for all services to be up and running also.

My SMSC number is correct. Maybe I just need to wait a couple of days.

It shouldn't take couple of days if it was a wireless to wireless port. If all other services i.e. calling and data are working fine I'd raise a ticket in your Lüm account after a couple of hours.
