iOS17 and myLüm Issues

We are aware of the current issues with iOS17 and the ability to access myLüm both through the app and any web browser. This does not affect your ability to use Lüm service, only access to myLüm to manage your Lüm services.

 

We are working diligently with our partners to get this resolved ASAP. If you are able to hold off on updating to iOS17 with your device until these issues are resolved, you should not experience any outages.

 

If you have updated to iOS17, you will not be able to access any myLüm services. You should still be able to access myLüm from a different device not running iOS17 (computer, or another device). If you do not have access to another non-iOS17 device and you require access to your account or changes, please email us directly at

support@lum.ca so we can assist.

    If you upgraded to iOS 17, Apple's new voicemail system may have taken over your existing Lüm voicemail service and call forwarding features. Lüm voicemail has several benefits that may not be available with Apple's version. To maintain the use of your current voicemail service or call forwarding as usual, please follow these steps to disable this feature. For additional information, you can visit Apple's official website at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT213877.

    How to Turn Live Voicemail On or Off:

    1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
    2. Scroll down and tap on "Phone."
    3. Look for the "Live Voicemail" option.
    4. Toggle the switch to turn Live Voicemail on or off according to your preference.

    Keep Lüm voicemail to enjoy additional features such as:

    • Receive voicemails when your phone is powered off, in airplane mode, or out of a coverage area.
    • Access your voicemail from a device other than your primary phone.
    • Customize your voicemail greeting to give callers a personalized experience.
    • Choose between different call forwarding settings for all calls, no answer, call busy, and not reachable call forward scenarios.
