Can’t send or receive SMS

I have an iPhone on iOS17.

It previously worked, but all day today I haven’t been able to send or receive SMS messages.

I have followed all the online troubleshooting advice, and nothing so far.

    I'm having the same issue. iMessage (and all other data) works, but SMS (i.e. to Android) does not

    Hello

    We have identified the problem (thanks for your trouble ticket, Ezra, you should now be able to send and receive SMS) and found the resolution.

    We have proactively identified a number of other customers with this issue and are updating their phone numbers with the proper programming as well.

    We'll need a few minutes to get to them all individually, but they will all be back to normal soon.
