What will work outside of North America?

Going to be in Puerto Plata for a week and would like to have a working phone for emergencies. Any thoughts?

    Your service will not work outside Canada, USA, or Mexico and maybe Guam.


    If you have a newer phone you can buy a data package through many service providers right on your phone and install esim on your phone before you arrive at your destination. I've often used Airalo and it has worked great for Data overseas.
