Will I have to contact sasktel to cancel, or will I have an option to Port automatically somehow when I receive my sim card? I am on call and I have to maintain continuous service and I am a little worried after reading some posts.

I can not use an e-sim

Thank you!

Do NOT cancel your SaskTel service. No need to call them either.

Once you receive your sim card from Lüm, simply go through the activation procedure and select the option to bring your existing number over. It will ask for your SaskTel phone number and SaskTel account number to put the port request through.

At this point, you will receive an sms from SaskTel saying that they've received a port request. Reply YES to this sms.

Once the port is successfully completed, your SaskTel account will automatically close.
