Why does my Google Pixel 8 say not recommended for lum?

I enter my Imei for my Pixel 8, not Pro, and I get

This phone in not RECOMMENDED for use with Lüm

Any idea why this is?

    If it's the Canadian model it should work just fine considering that SaskTel now carries the phone themselves. And Lum runs on SaskTel's network. The IMEI database may not have been updated to include the Pixel 8.

    Hi @Wilnor, that does not sound right to us either. To manually check a device compatibility follow these manual steps. If you can share the first 8 digits of your IMEI to us we will look into further. You can also create a ticket from your myLüm so we can discuss specifics in more detail (i.e. the complete IMEI)
