New Plans FAQ's

As many of you are aware we have launched new plans. We have 7 new plans to offer ranging from 1 year 3 month and 1 month durations.
Here’s a few things included with all the plans:
- They are fast – every plan has 5G speed and no throttles!
- Unlimited calling and texting within Canada and to the U.S.
- Rollover data – any unused data at the end of your membership automatically rolls over once into your next membership
We have answered some questions that have come in from the change. Take a look!

Can someone confirm, with "unlimited calling and texting", does this mean that calling and texting no longer count for data consumption, or they still count and it's just that when data is exhausted, they keep working regardless?

Hello @Eisbar , with the new plans unlimited talk and text is defined as "Unlimited calling and texting from anywhere in Canada to any Canadian or U.S. number."
The discontinued plans used data deductions to talk and text, unless the Talk and Text add-on was purchased.
Hope this answers your question.
Thanks,

It says that I can renew to a new plan for $150/year. Are all costs included?

I’m unclear about the “roll over once” thing. If I get 150 for $300 for a year, and use 100, I assume 100 rolls over, but how much do I then pay for my membership? Do I pay $300 again, for another 150GB, so then have 200 GB to use in that year? If I use 100GB again, can I roll over 100 to the following year? Or does it mean I only get to roll it over once, so the second year I don’t roll over any data? Or does it mean that if I roll over 50 the first year, and then only use 40, I can’t roll over the 10 that are left, but could roll over all 150GB that I got that year? A table with some scenarios would be helpful.

if I run out of data before the end of the term can I start a new contract term at that time or do I have to add data to the current term?

You can look at data top up rates at the bottom of this page. You can add more data if you need before your current term ends. It's much cheaper to just go with a higher plan initially if you anticipate on going over what's included.

Not a fan of the new pricing. It now cost me more than the previous plans.
