Port out from Lum Issue

Good morning everyone,
I got a new plan from another provider, but I want to keep my current Lum phone number, so I called the new provider to transfer my current number to the new provider.
I followed all instructions from Lum help center
But the other side still cannot process it. the reason is that my number is not active, not allowed to transfer.
I also submit an issue to Lum, but it is supposed to reply me on Monday.
Do you guys know how to do this?
