"Unknown" Caller ID for all incoming calls / iMessage features broken
So I joined Lum yesterday, and ever since activating my eSim I have been having alot of issues. The main issue is that whenever I get an incoming call (regardless if they are in my contacts), the call appears as "Unknown". I have tried the following steps to fix this:
- Restart My Phone
- Disable/Re-enable my eSim
- Turn on/off all my settings (Wifi, Data, Bluetooth, Airplane mode, etc)
- Deleting, and re-adding my eSim
- Updating my phone
Nothing seems to fix the issue. Calls and texts will still send and recieve like normal (Sort of), but the caller ID function is broken.
Another separate issue that has occurred is that none of my iMessage (or MMS) features seem to work now. I no longer have read receipts, cant see when someone is typing, etc.
I found one other support article about an issue similar to this, but the solution linked a forum post that is no longer available (https://help.lum.ca/discussion/202/caller-id-not-working).
I am using an iPhone 15 Pro running IOS 18.3.1 (March 5th)

Hello, the caller id seems to be a network side issue… so please go into you Lum account and raise a support ticket. Someone from the Lum team will look into it for you.
For iMessage, I believe it could take some time for it to re-register. You can wait and see if it works… otherwise, try toggling iMessage on and off in settings.

Update:
The read receipts and typing notifications work fine for iMessage. Its just MMS when messaging android users that is not working atm
