Uploading MP3 as voicemail greeting
I ported over from SaskTel to Lum last year. SaskTel has the option for users to upload a local MP3 audio file to use as their outgoing voicemail greeting, but that option isn't currently available on Lum.
I really liked that option; it was useful for uploading a "message" that stopped scam calls. Can Lum work on making this capability available?

Hi @GeoffNET,
Thanks for sharing that idea! We’re always curious about what our members want to see next.
While using an MP3 for voicemail to deter spammers is a clever idea, it isn't currently on our roadmap. In the meantime, check out our Spam Calls and Caller ID Spoofing for some ways that may help.
Thanks,
The Lüm Team

Thanks for the quick response. I really hope this feature makes it to your roadmap soon. There was one day (two years ago, when I was on SaskTel) when I suddenly went from 0-1 spam calls a day to dozens of spam calls in a day. Two days later, I updated my voicemail greeting to an audio file of the "this number is disconnected" message that starts with those three rising tones. After 24 hours, the spam calls stopped completely.
It was such a useful feature, essentially coming from the ability to access voicemail from a computer, that I was disappointed to see Lum voicemail services were not accessible online. Having access to this feature again would be fantastic.
