<main> <article class="userContent"> <p>The province uses SaskAlert (Saskatchewan's Emergency Public Alerting program) to alert the public in real-time of an emergency situation - and we know that some mobile phones are not compatible to automatically receive the SaskAlert emergency messages. </p><p>Most phones that were made after March 2018, and have LTE service at the time of the announcement, should receive the alert.</p><p>If your phone is not compatible and you want to receive SaskAlert messages - please download the SaskAlert app by searching for "Saskatchewan Emergency Alert" in the Google Play Store or App Store.</p><p>For more information on the Alert Ready system go to the <a href="https://help.lum.ca/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&target=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.alertready.ca%2F" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">Alert Ready website</a>.</p> </article> </main>
