Why is Lüm introducing new plans?
We heard our customers wanted more value in the membership and options for more data at a lower cost, so we delivered!
We now offer 7 membership plans that include membership and data together - now you can pick from monthly, 3 month or 1 year membership plans that include data buckets of different sizes that work for you! You get all the data at the start of your membership to use how you want. Running low on data during your membership? We’ve got data top-ups in case you need more.
Here’s a few things included with all the plans:
- They are fast – every plan has 5G speed and no throttles!
- Unlimited calling and texting within Canada and to the U.S.
- Rollover data – any unused data at the end of your membership automatically rolls over once into your next membership

What’s the best value plan?
For the best value, get the 1-year membership plan that gives you 500 GB for $420 – it’s like $35/month! It gives you lots of data to use how you want over the year.
What does 5G mean?
We're powered by SaskTel's wireless network, with nationwide coverage on Canada's largest network.
With 5G speed on all our plans, you get lightning-fast speeds up to 250 Mbps and an ultra-reliable connection with less delays. You can stream, download, and upload huge quantities of data in no time at all!
To get 5G speeds, you'll need a wireless 5G device and be in a 5G coverage area. Our 5G wireless network covers approximately 85% of the Saskatchewan population and is available in Saskatchewan’s nine major urban centres, along major highways, and in rural and resort areas. 5G is available in most cities across Canada and along major highways, except in Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and Yukon. When you're not in a 5G coverage area, you’ll be on our LTE network.
How do I pick a new plan?
You can preschedule a plan change for when your current membership runs out in your myLüm account. Just follow these steps!
What happens if I run out of data on the new plan?
We’ve got data top-ups for as low as $1/GB. You can buy them whenever you need more data. Heads up – data top-ups don’t roll over, so use them up during your current membership.
Can I opt out of talk and text and get the new plan cheaper?
All our new membership plans offer great value for one price. You can’t opt out of the membership benefits that are included with all plans.

Can I wait to pick a plan? What happens if I don’t pick a plan in time for my renewal?
If you don’t pick a new plan before your membership renewal date, here’s what happens:
- If you have auto-renew turned on: We’ll automatically move you to the new monthly plan that gives you 15 GB for $40.
- If you have auto-renew turned off: You’ll still need to renew with a new membership plan in your myLüm account to keep your service active.
Why did you move me to a monthly plan?
If you have auto-renew turned on and didn’t pick a new plan before your membership expires, we automatically moved you to the new monthly plan that gives you 15 GB for $40. We moved you to the shortest membership length for the lowest upfront price so it gives you the chance after only a month to pick the plan that works for you.
Why can’t I stay on my current membership?
You’ll stay on your current membership until it expires. You can purchase the discontinued data buckets as you need more.
Our new membership plans offer much more value, and we want you to enjoy the benefits as soon as you renew!
Will my existing data expire?
You can keep your existing data until it’s used up as long as you keep your membership active by renewing on a new plan for as low $25/month (that’s our 1 year membership plan that gives you 150 GB for $300). We told you that data never expires when you bought it and we meant it! When you move to a new membership plan, you’ll use your existing data first until it’s gone.
If you have any unused data from your new plan at the end of the membership, it will automatically roll over once into your next membership.
What do you mean my data rolls over now? I thought it never expired.
Our discontinued memberships had data that never expires. If you have any data left from your old membership you can keep it until it’s used up – it won’t expire. Our new membership plans have membership and data together for one great price. All new plans have rollover data - any unused data at the end of your membership automatically rolls over once into your next membership!
Can I change the new plan part way through my membership?
You can’t move to a different plan until your membership plan renewal date. You pay for your membership plan upfront so we want to make sure you get the full value of that membership.
