Lüm Mobile offers a range of benefits, including flexible prepaid services, data that never expires as long as your membership is active, and the ability to manage your account digitally. However, if you still wish to port out, here are the steps to follow:
Please follow the steps below to transfer/port your number to another provider.
Before initiating the port-out request:
- Log into myLüm.
- Delink Linked Accounts: Ensure that you delink any linked accounts prior to porting out, if applicable.
- Account Number: Take note of your 5-digit account number on the Dashboard. Note: If your new provider advises that they cannot accept a 5-digit account number, rest assured that this is your correct account number, and they can process the port request with it.
- Click on Settings > Security & Controls.
- Scroll down and swipe On Port Authorization Opt-Out - this is valid for 90 minutes.
Porting Out:
- Port requests are processed automatically and are typically completed very quickly. If your port-out request fails, the new provider should provide a reason for the failure. You can review common porting failures here.
- Once the reason for the failure has been addressed, you may ask your new provider to attempt the request again.
