With Lüm, you have the ability to see your usage. We have multiple options to filter and more details if you require them.
To check your usage:
- Log into myLüm
- Scroll down on the page and click on My Usage from the Dashboard which will show a summary
- You can filter in the top right corner
- Click View Usage Details for more detailed information by day
- Click Download or Email if you would like a copy or further details by day and time
Note: If you have Unlimited Talk & Text your usage will not be displayed in further details.
When downloading a copy of your usage the increments 5 MB may cause some confusion, as data consumption occurs in different sessions. It's important to emphasize that you are only billed for the actual data you use, and these discrepancies are solely for informational purposes. The displayed usage is not exact but serves as an informative representation.
Usage History shows daily data usage in 5.00 MB segments or less.
- If you use less than 5.00 MB during one session, you will see a charge for the exact amount of data used.
- If you use more than 5.00 MB in one day, it will show time stamps when you used 5.00 MB.
- If you use more than 5.00 MB in one second, you will see multiple lines with the exact same time stamp.
Example of daily usage
- November 26: 4.78 MB.
- November 27: 3.66 MB.
- November 28: 14.06 MB.
- 5.00 MB was used by 9:25 AM.
- Another 5.00 MB was used by 4:48 PM.
- 4.06 MB was used in the remainder of the day.
There are no scenarios where data usage can happen without your phone using it. Some apps like System Settings have the ability to force you to use data, even if you're on Wi-Fi. We recommend tracking these apps on your phone so you can determine what may be causing data usage.
