Currently Lüm accepts major credit cards and Visa/Mastercard Debit cards. You are required to have one payment card on file to make purchases when you need it through your myLüm.
To update your card details:
- Log into myLüm.
- Click on Manage Profile.
- Click on Update Payment Card.
- Click on Edit Payment Details.
- Update your payment card information and click Update.
- Click OK when Success window appears.
Lüm Mobile uses 3D Secure (3DS) to add an extra layer of protection to the Lüm.
What does 3DS do?
Think of it as a security upgrade for your transactions. With 3DS, you get:

✅ Enhanced customer confidence knowing your transactions are safe
Key Points:
- 3DS is only used during the Lüm onboarding process and is only required on high-risk purchases.
What Happens if 3DS is Triggered?
- When attempting your payment at initial sign up, you might be redirected to your financial institution to authenticate yourself.
- If you are asked to authenticate, you will need to verify your identity using the method defined by your financial institution (call, text, email, one time code). This method is not changeable by Lüm.
- If your authentication fails, you will need to contact your financial institution and attempt the transaction again or use an alternative method of payment.

Lüm Mobile also participates in Visa Account Updater (VAU) and Mastercard Automatic Billing Updater (ABU) to keep your payment cards updated.
When your credit card information changes (card number or expiration date), Visa and Mastercard securely sends us the updated information. This ensures that your service is never interrupted due to an out-of-date credit card on your account. You may be able to opt-out of automatic updates by contacting your credit card issuer.
Review Past Payments and Invoices
If you need to find a past payment or get a copy of a past invoice, you can find it in your email, or you can view, download, or email it to yourself from your myLüm account.
Follow these steps:
- Log into myLüm
- Click on Payment History
- Click the amount to review for more information on each payment
- Click Download Receipt or Email Receipt
